ExplorAR

          ExplorAR is an Augmented reality enabled application, utilizing the power of AR core, to teleport users across the world right from their homes! Using just their smartphones, ExplorAR allows users to discover unchartered territories. Users can visit their favorite tourist locations, experience space, the deep ocean, and other incredible destinations. 
The app is quite simple to use. We have provided options for both users supporting AR Core and those who don't. Hence, Users are provided 2 unique options for each experience: Portal and Teleport

Portal: 
Users who don't have space restrictions and possess an AR Core enabled smartphone, they can create an AR portal in their homes by pointing their phones on the floor and creating a doorway to the world. Users then have to walk through the door to explore the place they travel into. 
How to open an AR Portal:
1. Select an experience from the library.
2. Point phone at the floor until floor marker turns yellow.
3. Select a desirable spot to create AR Portal by clicking on the floor.
4. Voila! The door is created and ready to transport to your selected destination.

Words of caution:
1. Ensure there is enough space to create the portal and walk through and explore the content
2. Recommended floor size: 20ft x 20ft
3. Ensure Floor is not too reflective as it may hamper floor detection and portal creation
4. Always be aware of your surroundings. We want you to stay safe while exploring!

Teleport: 
For people who don't possess an AR core enabled smartphone or have space restrictions, the teleport option brings the world to be explored to them! They can explore various experiences right from where they sit or stand. 
How to Teleport:
1. Pick a comfortable place to sit or stand from where you can experience the content
2. Select the experience from the content library
3. Voila! Enjoy the world at your fingertips.

Words of caution:
1. Always be aware of your surroundings. We want you to stay safe while exploring!
2. For long durations of viewing, ensure the optimal angle of holding the phone to avoid physical pain.
