Emergency Plan for the Care of Minor Children

          Every parent of a minor child needs this app! It will help you document and share important details with a temporary guardian or caregiver in the event you become incapacitated in some way or unable to care for your children. This app will help the caregiver with details about your child’s daily care (school, health,...). Once completed, you can email the final plan to anyone you choose. 

The Emergency Plan can also help reassure your child that during a time of crisis, you have arranged for their care by someone with knowledge about their lives and daily routines. 

Indiana statute allows for the appointment of standby guardians. So, along with the emergency plan, I strongly advise parents to execute a standby guardianship with a licensed attorney. This app focuses primarily on Indiana residents. If you live in a different state, contact an attorney licensed in your state to determine if standby guardianship statutes apply.
