iRecycle - Find recycling bins

          Finding the closest Recycling/Garbage bins around you has never been this easy. 

*Currently supporting Greater Vancouver Area including Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, and New Westminister. We are constantly working on expanding our supported area. 

Have you ever carried an aluminum can, or a plastic bottle with you, hoping you see a recycling bin? Then after a few blocks, the recyclable item ends up in the garbage when there could have been a recycling bin just around the corner? iRecycle solves this problem. 

With this simple, easy to use app, you can see the available Recycling/Garbage bins on a map and get directions to them. You can easily choose what type of bins (garbage, container, paper, and compost). 

Features: 
*Choose what type of bins are shown on the map using the provided check boxes on the main page. 
*Get direction to the bin location using your preferred mode of transport (walking, biking, driving). 
*The travel time to each bin location is shown at the bottom of the page based on the mode of transport and time of the day (using Google Maps). 
*Contribute by adding new bin locations in less than a minute. No personal user data is collected. You only need to choose the location, and what type of bin it is. That's it, then we will add the new bin to the database after data validation. 
*Constantly improving and updating the database. 
*In-app Recycling Guide offers quick guidelines for each type of bin. 
*App guide is available in the menu to describe all the features of the app. 
*Customize all the details (what is shown on the startup, mode of transport, etc) in the settings. 
*Easily report issues with bins, using the pre-defined issues in the list, or writing your custom message. 

Database: 
*The location and details of these bins are collected through the City's database, user submitted data, and the data that is collected by the iRecycle team. 

Environmental Mission: 
*We are trying to help people, help the environment by making recycling more accessible, fast, and reliable. 
*We are donating 10% of our revenue towards planting trees. iRecycle will donate 10 trees/month during the initial phase before any income is generated.
