DeadCell monitors your Internet connection and alerts you when it's gone bad. You can then either relocate or go into Airplane mode and back out (to connect to a different tower) or turn off your WiFi if connecting to distant hotspots. Surprisingly, having a signal does not mean you can communicate with the Internet and get ride requests. Most towns have several places that have a signal but that will not give you rides. 

DeadCell monitors the ability of a phone or tablet to communicate with the Internet and notifies the user when connectivity is confirmed lost or restored.
