Taroudannt

          The city of Taroudant is one of the oldest and oldest cities in Morocco. It has been a city since ancient times and has played important historical roles in the history of Sousse and Morocco, whether during the pre-Islamic period or during the various stages of the history of the Islamic Maghreb. Despite all this, we can not find in the history books what suits this foot and that heritage, nor what suits the role played by this city in our national history. It is an anomalous situation that finds justification in the absolute absence of archeological research, as well as in the history of the city through its long history of sharp political and sectarian conflicts since the arrival of the Islamic conquest armies (1st century AH / 7 CE) until the beginning of modern times. These conflicts are among the reasons behind the reluctance of historians to pay attention to the history of the city, and not to offer it except in a way, except for the historians of the Saadian state, which represents a golden age for Tarodant. This is without forgetting the role of methodological factors associated with the traditional Moroccan historian's view of the history process, as well as the psychosocial factors related to the sociologists' reluctance to pay attention to their history and to collect their news.
